Become a Chêneau Gensingen Brace® Provider

Our Chêneau TLSO instructional courses are held for very small groups. This allows optimal learning and hands-on experience fitting patients. The Gensingen Brace® network is expanding across the U.S. and Canada and our aim is to broaden the network of professionals offering this innovative and effective 3D spinal orthosis. If you are interested in becoming a provider, please contact us at for more information.

Design & Fit Process

The market for the Cheneau Gensingen is growing rapidly and the fitting process offers many advantages to both the orthotist and the patient. The process begins with a simple 3D scan and/or measurement of the patient. The brace is then designed via CAD/CAM technology according to the Lehnert-Schroth Augmented Classification System. Braces are fabricated in the U.S. within two to three days of placing an order. Braces are then shipped and delivered to the practitioner for fitting, typically in under one week.

3D scan for scoliosis

Brace developer, Dr. Hans-Rudolf Weiss, is the former medical director of the Asklepios Katharina Schroth Clinic, named for his grandmother – the creator of the Schroth Method. The Schroth method is a scoliosis-specific exercise treatment option that has become a popular non-surgical treatment option in the USA in the past decade. The Gensingen brace is the highest evolution of Chêneau bracing currently available and 100% Schroth method compatible.
